Hi there! 👋 This policy explains how we handle your data in 12 Months. We’ve tried to keep it simple and honest—your family’s memories are precious, and we treat them that way.

📱What We Collect

Things you give us:

• Your email, name, and optional profile photo when you sign up
• Everything you add to your baby books—photos, milestones, measurements, memories
• Messages if you chat with our support team

Things we collect automatically:

• Basic device info (iOS version, app version) so we can help if something breaks
• Push notification tokens if you want updates when family members add photos
• Crash reports and usage analytics—but only if you opt in in Settings

🔧How We Use It

We use your data to:

• Show you your baby books (obviously!)
• Let you invite family to view or contribute
• Send notifications when someone adds a photo or you get a support reply
• Fix bugs and improve the app (with your permission)

🤝Who We Share With

We use a few services to make the app work:

We never: sell your data, share your photos with advertisers, or let third parties use your content for their own purposes.

🔒How We Protect It

• All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Only you and people you invite can see your baby books
• Our admin access requires multi-factor authentication
• We’re based in Sweden (EU) and take GDPR seriously

🗑️Data Retention

• Your account & baby books: Kept as long as your account is active
• Deleted data: 30-day recovery window, then permanently erased
• Support chats: Auto-archived after 90 days of inactivity

✨Your Rights

You can always:

• View, edit, or delete your data in the app
• Export your baby book photos
• Turn off analytics and crash reporting in Settings
• Delete your entire account (Settings → Account → Delete Account)

EU users: You have full GDPR rights—access, correction, deletion, portability, the works. Just email us.

California users: You have CCPA rights too. We don’t sell personal info, so “opt out of sale” doesn’t apply to us.

👶A Note About Kids

This app is for parents to document their children—we don’t collect data directly from kids. All baby information is provided and controlled by the parent account holder.

🌍Where Your Data Lives

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers in Europe. We’re an EU company (Sweden).
